As of today Mike Banker no longer works in the shop. Until further notice we will have Joe Sr. and Joe Jr. in the shop 9am - 6pm Tuesday thru Friday, Saturday from 9am - 5pm, and Joe Jr. will be at it alone on Sundays from 10am - 2pm. Joe's Barbershop Chicago & Three Aces host the 1st annual HOLiDAY BALL event. Saturday 12/10/11 @ 8pm, 25 cent meatballs, $1 shots of Old Crow whiskey, Photos by Black Pearl Photography, Give-Aways, etc.

We show our customers the haircut as it comes together. Everything from the length of the sides to the finished piece to avoid mistakes, and insure the customer is 100% happy. If the customer decides to change his mind on the haircut AFTER he gets home, We always tell them to cruise in the next day and we will fix/adjust for free. Been shop policy since 1968 and always will be !

1st annual 8-Ball tournament is Sunday 1/15/12

It's official ! The shop's 1st annual 8-ball tournament is taking place Sunday 1/15/12 @ Five Star Bar on Chicago ave. Teams of two - $20 per player - Standard "Bar" rules - Single elimination - First three teams take home prizes inc CASH. Registration takes place noon - 1pm - tournament starts @ 1:30 sharp. Before & After

I have said it before, as I am not a huge fan of posting pics of the shop's cuts. I think the shop and our work speaks for itself, but once in awhile a customer comes in and wants a complete change-over which has to have a photo taken of it.

Take the above lad for example. He came in with a full beard and a mop of hair. After a traditional cut and a hot lather straight razor shave (all by Joe Jr.) he left the shop looking like a new man (literally).
